The September edition of M&O ’25 will open with an approach increasingly centered around innovation, young talents, the latest directions of design and the inspirational trait d’union behind all the different disciplines: the focus on the future of creativity.
A breath of fresh air, immersive experiences and insights aimed at responding to the evolution of design (in its deepest meaning), a true collective laboratory of ideas and experimentation, an incredible source of inspiration for industry professionals, including architects, designers, hoteliers and retailers.
The second appointment of Maison&Objet 2025 (4-8 September), under the artistic direction of Amélie Pichard – an eclectic stylist famous for her creations and avant-garde spirit – and the guidance of Mélanie Leroy, will host a passionate journey in its allure at the official venue at Parc des Expositions de Paris-Nord Villepinte, between new market trends, new entries and the creative universe that revolves around the macro-theme of lifestyle. All this, with a very different focus from the winter edition: the object, complementary to furniture, regains a central role in the conception of our homes and becomes the core element of innovation, experimentation and savoir-faire thanks to the new structure of the show.

If the January ‘25 edition confirmed Paris as an international hub for collection design and luxury, the new September show will respond to the changing demands of a field in constant evolution and its dynamics, highlighting emerging talents and all the techniques and disciplines that tell the story of the future of home decor, between craftsmanship and AI.
The heart of it all is the concept of Renewal. New & Now. Ready to impress with a new exposition divided in 6 product sectors and a Design District inside the fair that will show different programs dedicated to new talents: Rising Talent Awards Germany, Future On Stage, Maison&Objet Factory and Accor Design Awards.

Also, an exclusive partnership plan – a fashion school for Fashion & Accessories and crowdfunding brands for the two key sectors of September, that have now become annual – Cook & Share and Gift & Play – in addition to a rich schedule of conferences: opening with the artistic director Amélie Pichard, round tables on design between past and future with Edgar Jayet and Sceners Gallery, and thematic discussions with the winners and jury of the Rising Talent Awards, who this year presents Germany as the leading country of this edition.
Not to mention the Paris Design Week, which will take place in the same days (4-13 September 2025) in over 375 locations around the city with exhibitions, events and installations, inspired by the same concept as M&O, focused on “Renouveu” and freedom of creative expression.

BREAKING DOWN BORDERS
The central theme of this new edition of M&O is a hymn to freedom, it pushes us to break free from the past and to give voice to the “new” which is represented by young people. The future of design, lifestyle and decoration is in their hands, and only through their gaze we can understand the new technologies and the needs of a tomorrow that is already upon us.
It is time to give them space to express themselves and give new oxygen to the progress of creativity. The wind of change is ready to blow strongly on the Parisian autumn dedicated to design that will welcome with open arms not only big names, deserving of respect for the history they have traced, but above all the new generations, sparks of what (one day) will be the burning fire of the new style.
