mise en place firmata da La DoubleJ

Table trends – color revolution

A wave of refined vivacity paints the season’s tableware, mixing various stylistic influences to create an eclectic ensemble with ethnic references and boho notes.

Bright colors, bold contrasts, vintage patterns, and minimal lines. The common thread among them: color. While elegance lies in harmony and attention to detail, character is expressed through tableware with multiple stylistic and chromatic nuances, a play of shapes and materials, patterns, and conceptual references, in a multifaceted and ever-changing ensemble.

It’s a true mix and match, where there is no fear of daring, and each place setting becomes a picture, with ceramics cloaked in unexpected hues that converse with textiles, pitchers, and super-decorated glasses. The palette is a celebration of the shades of red and yellow, but blues, greens, and – as a contrast – refined shades of anthracite gray and pure white are also present. The cutlery is metallic, simple, and shiny, while the tablecloths, placemats, and napkins are rich in texture.

The table becomes a refined amusement where different styles inspired by a contagious “color fever” can be combined, involving even kitchen accessories like cake stands, candelabras (in unusual materials), and pots, the latter becoming the protagonists of the most contemporary ensembles. Creativity is unleashed!

SOLAR EFFECT

A chromatic play in a warm terracotta, deep indigo, and egg yolk palette. The table setting by La DoubleJ with the Solar collection is an explosion of bright contrasting hues, elegantly paired in a studied game of overlays. The line includes 36 porcelain pieces with gold details, hand-blown Murano glass, and printed fabrics from Como. Perfectly matched with colored glasses and shiny gold cutlery.

FLORAL CHIC

Available in stores from September 2024, Rosenthal’s Bloom collection dresses the charm of oriental minimalism with the Lava and Scarlet hues, ideally contrasted with the Snow tone’s purity. At the center is floral inspiration: bowls and plates reminiscent of hibiscus petals in bloom, with oval organic shapes for the matching plates and cups. The irregular texture of the glaze on the Lava and Scarlet colors adds a handcrafted (and unique) touch to each element of the extensive line, which includes plates and saucers of various sizes, cups, footed bowls, small bowls, a pourer, and a lidded vase.

NATURAL ELEGANCE

Nature, specifically flowers, also inspires Sambonet Bloom collection. The simplicity and elegantly sinuous balance of petals define this line’s fluid ergonomics, reflecting the idea of well-being and stylistic relaxation for contemporary tables. An organic design with classic references, made of stainless steel, available in a mirror-polished version and an Antique finish, for six-person sets, completable with dessert forks and coffee spoons sold separately.

THE TASTE OF COLOR

A kitchen classic, the iconic Le Creuset pots and cocottes, in four refined and intense shades, are ready to conquer not only the table but also the tableware. In Rhône, Cherry, Orange, and Nectar hues, the kitchen is dressed with character: the collection includes everything necessary, including plates, bowls, and cups. For those who love monochrome or want to create contrasting mixes, each element can become part of a rich table setting, where the craftsmanship and materiality of each product bring an extra note of refined character.

MAGICAL REALISM

The table by Bitossi Home finds a new interpretation through colors like curry, coral, and amaranth. OGGETTI LENTI is a “concept” in its true sense, moving between present and past, with ancient knowledge meeting contemporary taste, artisanal techniques, and a contemporary twist. The raffia décor by Colombian designer Mercedes Salazar, paired with the ribbon ceramic work for cake stands and baskets made by the artisans of Bassano del Grappa, stands out.
